BABSON PARK, Mass.—Babson College sophomore Elizabeth Cameron (El Dorado Hills, Calif.) was selected as the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Offensive Co-Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Cameron had a monster week averaging 9.40 assists, 2.00 digs and 1.30 kills as the Beavers extended their winning streak to 10 matches with a trio of victories. She totaled 94 assists, 20 digs and 13 kills against no errors while hitting at a .542 clip.
Cameron opened the week with 41 assists, nine digs and five kills in a 3-0 win at Wentworth on Thursday and followed it up with 23 assists, six digs and four kills in a three-set triumph over Coast Guard in the first of two matches on Saturday. She then capped the week with 30 assists, five digs four kills and three blocks in a 3-1 victory against UMass Boston.
Babson (14-2, 5-0 NEWMAC), which was sixth in the first NEWVA regional poll, hosts 14th-ranked MIT on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
