• Following a nine-day break, 20th-ranked Babson returns to action with three matches over the weekend at the MIT Invitational.
• The Beavers host SUNY Geneseo on Friday night before travelling to Cambridge for matches against Bowdoin and RIT on Saturday afternoon.

vs. SUNY Geneseo: The Beavers are 0-1 all-time against the Knights after dropping a four-set decision at the 2017 MIT Invitational.

vs. Bowdoin: Babson is 3-5 all-time against the Polar Bears, which includes a 3-0 victory in last year's NCAA Tournament Babson Park Regional final.

vs. RIT: first meeting

• No. 20 Babson (4-0) is coming off a 3-0 win at Division II Southern New Hampshire back on September 4.
• Junior Allie Puccio finished with 14 kills and sophomore Maddie Malee added 14 digs and four service aces for the Beavers, who finished with season highs in both kills (38) and digs (45).
• Puccio is averaging 2.90 kills per set, senior Kristin Carosotto (2.88 k/s, 0.75 b/s) is hitting .378, and first-year Lauren MacDonald is contributing 1.86 kills and 0.71 blocks per set.
• Senior Elizabeth Cameron is dishing out 8.88 assists, while Malee leads the Green and White in both total digs (34) and digs per set (2.83).

• SUNY Geneseo (4-3) has won its last four matches following a 3-0 sweep of Rochester in its home opener on Tuesday.
• Grace Cergol put away 15 kills and Grace Thomas added 41 assists and seven digs for the Knights, who hit .250 in the match.
• Cergol is averaging 3.91 kills and 1.74 digs per set, while sophomore Maddie McLaughlin is contributed 2.29 kills per set and hitting at a .291 clip.
• Thonas is dishing out 7.44 assists to go along with 2.96 digs, and senior Sam Mendelsohn leads the squad in both digs (105) and digs per set (4.77).

• Bowdoin (2-2) is coming off a 3-1 win over Southern Maine in its home opener on Tuesday.
• Sophomore Cori Gray finished with seven kill and seven blocks, and first-year Ella Haugen chipped in with 18 assists and 10 digs for the Polar Bears, who hit .250 over the first two games.
• Sophomore Sophia Paul is averaging 2.91 kills and 2.64 digs per set, senior Caroline Flaherty is contributing 2.64 kills and 2.27 digs, and junior Ashley Williams is putting away 2.45 kills to go along with 0.82 blocks per game.
• Junior Kate Kiser is dishing out 9.10 assists and junior Emily King is averaging 4.67 digs per set.

• RIT (5-2) has won two straight matches and is coming off a 3-0 victory over Capital last Saturday.
• Sophomore Katie Hobler hit .500 and put away 16 kills, while junior Brianna Ellis dished out 37 assists for the Tigers.
• Hobler is averaging 4.35 kills per set and hitting at a .307 clip, junior Taylor Higgins is contributing 2.69 kills and 3.08 digs per set, and senior Kelly Waters (1.75 k/s) is hitting .370 and leads the team with 12 blocks.
• Ellis and junior Sash Mekker have combined to hand out 10.15 assists per set, while senior Maria Simonetti is averaging 4.71 digs on the year.

• The Beavers enter the weekend ranked eighth in Division III in service aces per set (4.58), and have recorded at least 10 aces in each of their first four matches.
• Malee leads the team with 14 service aces and ranks 19th nationally averaging 1.17 aces per set through four matches.

• Cameron, who ranks second on the program's all-time list, enters the weekend just 22 assists shy of the 3,000 mark for her career.
• Cameron also needs just two more service aces to grab a share of 10th place on the program's career list alongside Carlen Palau '08 and Katelin Anderson '00.
• Carosotto enters the weekend with 253 career total blocks and needs just two to pass Lorraine Mackiewicz '17 for second place on Babson's all-time list.

• Saturday's matches against Bowdoin and RIT will be the first two of seven this season against programs that participated in the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
• The Tigers suffered a five-set loss to Carnegie Mellon in the second round of the Ithaca (N.Y.) Regional, while the Polar Bears had won 19 consecutive matches before falling to the Green and White in last year's Babson Park Regional final.

• After moving up to a program-best 18th in the September 3 AVCA Division III poll, the Beavers slipped two spots to 20th when the new poll was released on Tuesday after playing just one match last week.
• Babson garnered two first-place votes and finished third in the first NEWVA regional poll, which was released on Thursday afternoon.

• The Beavers have won 41 consecutive matches when hitting at least .200 going back to the end of the 2016 campaign.
