Title: Assistant Coach

A 2011 graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, Sarah Coscia begins her fifth season as an assistant coach for the Babson women's volleyball program in 2016. The Beavers, who set a school record with 28 victories in 2015, have won two NEWMAC Tournament championships and have reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament on two occasions during her tenure.  

Coscia enjoyed a stellar playing career at UMass-Lowell where she finished fourth in program history with 1,321 kills and fifth in blocks with 306. She led the Northeast-10 Conference in scoring during her senior season and was a first-team All-Conference selection as both a junior and a senior. Coscia also earned All-New England honors in 2009.

Her post-collegiate playing career continued last summer as a member of Team New England, the region's professional volleyball squad. The team competed in the Premier Volleyball League Championship as part of the 2014 USA Volleyball Open National Championship in Phoenix, Ariz.

The Pittsfield, Massachusetts, native currently serves as the freshman girls coach and JV boys coach at Wellesley High School and has also served as the coach of the 17-and-under boys team in the SMASH Volleyball Club.
