• Babson and Southern Maine will meet for the 19th time on Thursday in a series that dates back to 2000. The Beavers are 6-11-1 all-time against the Huskies and have dropped two straight in the series.

• Senior Devin Warren scored the tying run in the eighth inning and raced home with the winning run in the 10th as then-No. 23/28 Southern Maine defeated Babson, 4-3, on April 19, 2018, in Gorham, Maine.
• Senior Zach Quintal homered and classmate Jake Dexter struck out five of the six batters he faced to earn the win in relief for the Huskies. Senior Edward Lehr finished with three hits and junior Jake Oliger drove in a pair of runs for the Beavers.

• Mark Webber hit a grand slam and drove in five runs as the Beavers knocked off then-16th-ranked Southern Maine, 12-8, on April 21, 2016, in Gorham.
• Jack Halpin '17 doubled twice and drove in a pair of runs for the Beavers, who helped head coach Matt Noone record his 300th career victory. Tom Budrewicz went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI for the Huskies.

• No. 3/4 Southern Maine (21-4) extended its winning streak to five with a 7-1 victory over Endicott on Wednesday.
• Andrew Olszak went 3-for-4 with two RBI and Warren had two hits and scored three times for the Huskies, who turned four double plays against the Gulls.
• Dexter is batting .367 with nine extra-base hits and 19 runs batted in, sophomore Sam Troiano is hitting .360 with five doubles, three homers, 15 RBI and 25 runs scored, and junior Dylan Hapworth checks in at .333 with six doubles, three home runs and 24 runs driven in.
• Senior Henry Curran is 3-0 with a 0.46 ERA and strikeouts in 19.2 innings, while junior Ben Lambert (5-0) boasts a 0.67 ERA to go along with 42 strikeouts over 40.1 innings in six appearances this spring.

• No. 10/10 Babson (23-4) extended its winning streak to six by erasing a six-run deficit to defeat Springfield, 10-9, in 10 innings on Tuesday.
• Lehr went 3-for-4 with two RBI and first-year Thomas Lapham drove in the second of his two runs when he was plunked with the bases loaded in the last of the 10th for the Beavers, who scored twice in the ninth to force extras.
• Oliger is batting .347 with nine doubles, four home runs and 29 runs batted in, Lapham is batting .333 with four doubles, 10 RBI and 17 runs scored, and Lehr checks in at .333 with seven doubles, one home run and 27 runs driven in.
• Senior Michael Genaro is 4-1 with a 1.15 ERA and 29 strikeouts against just five walks in 47.0 innings, sophomore Henry Leake has recorded 14 strikeouts in 12.0 innings out of the bullpen, and senior Max Tannenbaum is 3-0 with five saves in 14 relief appearances.

• The Beavers drew 12 bases on balls in Tuesday's win over Springfield, and have now walked six or more times in nine games this season.
• During its six game winning streak Babson has drawn eight bases-loaded walks and has driven in two other runs thanks to hit batsmen.

• The Green and White improved to 6-0 on the year in games decided by a single run with Tuesday's win over Springfield.
• Going back to last year, the Beavers are 13-3 in one-run games, which includes their current nine-game winning streak that started following last year's 4-3 loss at Southern Maine.

• With a pair of two-baggers in Sunday's win at MIT, senior Eric Jaun is now tied with Chris Kucher '13 for second in program history with 40 career doubles.
• He has already matched his career high with 10 this season in just 26 games and is nine shy of the program record held by Babson Hall of Famer Teddy Dziuba '06.

• Babson ranks seventh in Division III in walks per nine innings (2.27), eighth in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.50), 17th in ERA (2.96) and is 20th in the country in in WHIP (1.22).

• In 43 games since last year's April 19 loss to Southern Maine the Beavers have gone 37-6.
