BABSON PARK, Mass.—The Babson College men's and women's basketball teams will partner with the Go4theGoal Foundation in the fight against pediatric cancer by wearing gold shoelaces during their doubleheader inside Staake Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
The Beavers, who face Mount Holyoke College in a 12 p.m. women's game and the Coast Guard Academy in a 2 p.m. men's contest, will take part in the Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer program for the second year in a row on Saturday. Since 2011, teams from across the country have been donning gold shoelaces to raise funds and awareness for children battling cancer. 100 percent of all donations and $4 from every $5 pair of laces go back to helping kids and their families in their fight against cancer.
